Trees Are Gold makes tree donations easy for Filipinos! Our goal is to help plant a better future
Many Filipinos want to help the environment but don't know where to start, and that's where we come in. With a simple scan of our GCash QR code, anyone can contribute to local tree-planting efforts in seconds, with QR stands soon reaching schools, cafés, and establishments across Cabanatuan City.
How it started
Trees Are Gold started because of a school’s web development competition.
Miguel Arocena, Founder of Trees Are Gold. During my senior year, joined a coding competition at IT CUP 2024, hosted by the College of the Immaculate Conception in the Philippines. That's where Trees Are Gold was born. I placed 1st and later turned it into a real, growing project.
